Steve Jobs was an entrepreneur, best known as the co-founder and C.E.O. of Apple Inc. Jobs had also served as chief executive officer of Pixar Animation Studios; he also became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney.
His portfolio included his contribution as a founder, chairman, and majority owner of NEXT Corporation. He is credited with helping bring forth the computer for the rest of us in the late 1970s and early 1980s, along with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
Born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco to Syrian immigrant parents who had fled from their home in Homs before civil war broke out there for economic reasons – his father Abdulfattah Jandali was a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison while studying for a Ph.D. degree in linguistics when he met Jobs’ mother, Joanne Simpson (who had been raised Catholic)
Steve was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs in 1955 after they learned that their biological child would not survive long. Jobs is claimed to have a birth name as Abdul Lateef Jandali given to him by his Biological parents by his first cousin and a well-known journalist Basma Al Jandaly in U.A.E.
Early in his life, Jobs helped support his family by taking a job at Atari Inc., where he worked for what he thought would be only six months. Jobs did not like this Job and soon moved on to another company called Hewlett Packard, where he also did not last very long. Jobs then went back to college and got a degree from Reed College in Oregon.
After graduating from school, Jobs started working as the manager of retail stores for Xerox Corporation. He later left that position because he felt it wasn’t challenging enough. In 1976, Jobs founded NeXT Computer Company with $5 million worth of funding. This computer company became one of the most successful companies ever created. In 1997, Apple Inc took over the NeXT for $429 million and traded 1.5 million shares of Apple Stock. The same year, Jobs returned to Apple Inc.

In 1997 Steve Jobs rejoined Apple Inc. After being ousted from the company during an internal power struggle. His return revitalized Apple, leading it to become the world’s most valuable technology firm. Under his leadership, Apple introduced its iPod music player, iPhone smartphone, and iPad tablet device. The latter two products have been runaway successes that transformed consumer electronics.

Steve Jobs has been known for many things during his lifetime. Jobs was a co-founder of Apple, C.E.O. of Pixar, and the former C.E.O. of the Walt Disney Company. Among his many feats, Jobs was listed as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World and became a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. As a result of his work with Pixar, he also received two Emmy awards for Outstanding Animated Program.
However, jobs are best remembered by most people today for being an innovator who revolutionized personal computing by creating the Macintosh computer. He had an influential and profound impact on our lives since then, not only because of what he created but how he lived his life.
He also had a knack for marketing products ahead of their time. Jobs has been regarded with many titles over the years: visionary, genius, iconoclast, maverick, perfectionist, dreamer, rebel, revolutionary, idealist, and more. But perhaps what best describes him is the man who changed everything.
